Doritos Funny Ad

One of the commercials from Super Bowl XLIII was the Free Doritos Ad. I felt that this was very funny and short and to the point. I've seen many commercials for Doritos, and can I say that they lack interest compared to this one.

In this commercial two co-workers are talking amongst each other and one of them has a magic globe. He asks his globe if there will be free Doritos today, and then turns around throws the ball to the snack machine and breaks the glass. The man then says, “I think that's a yes.” Towards the end, the other co-worker tries the same thing for a promotion, but he hits somebody in the groin instead. The man that gets hit is supposedly the boss, so that wasn't good at all. The first co-worker comes back in and says, “I don't think that will happen now.” These aren't exactly what he said, but they are pretty close though.

I think to myself that it can be easy to get some things in life (to a degree) like food, clothes, books, or whatever interests people. In the work life, a promotion is harder to get, you have to put in the time to receive such a reward. That stuck to me the most, not like the Doritos how he got it for free but how work is not easy and you can't just wish for things to happen. We have to work hard and show ambition to what we want. This could apply to anything in life; school, work, family, and friends. Anything we want in life we have to work for it and not just wish for it.

Hey this is just one man's opinion about a commercial for Doritos. Even though I don't eat Doritos that much, but I can still enjoy the commercial.
