For my analysis of the Doritos Ad breaks down into three parts.
1-the basic idea of it
2-the Advertisement purpose towards the audience
3-cultural purpose
The basic idea of the commercial is one man's mission to get Doritos, while the other man didn't get his promotion. Very easy to read. The Advertiser's purpose might be towards the working class men. We see an office with working men and everybody is dressed in suits. We don't see any women, so maybe this ad isn't towards women but other commercials from Doritos might be. Another aspect could be to show how much easier it is to get Doritos then a promotion. The cultural side would be the middle class working men. Showing how life is easy in some aspects and harder in others. Men is the dominant force in this commercial, as they are no women at all. Just a short analysis of this commercial.
